Tribal Warfare

In tribal warfare, the two sides square off and engage in some posturing. Then one or two people from each side move forward and briefly engage in combat before retreating to their lines again. The process repeats. Relatively few people are actually killed or injured in tribal battles.

I imagine it looks something like this:
